Benny Gammerman is a composer/lyricist whose songs have been performed at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and Joe’s Pub. Full-length musicals: Entry Level (NYU GMTWP), Wasteland (N.E.W. Musicals), and Something's Rotten in the State of Denmark (available from Samuel French). Ten-minute musicals: People Are Dancing (Milwaukee Repertory Theater) and Come Back to Bed (Barrington Stage Company). In July 2017, a concert of Benny's work with lyricist Dylan Hartwell titled Hartwell & Gammerman: It Always Feels Like the World is Ending ran at Don’t Tell Mama NYC. Benny’s non-music writing has appeared on BuzzFeed and The Brooklyn Quarterly. He holds an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and is a member of BMI and the Dramatists Guild of America.
